In our series, The Person God Uses, we point out a number of attitudes, perspectives, and experiences that Jesus desires and uses to prepare us for His service.
Luke 18:10-17
10] "Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. 11] The Pharisee stood up and prayed about [ Or to ] himself: 'God, I thank you that I am not like other men—robbers, evildoers, adulterers—or even like this tax collector. 12] I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.'
A person God uses is one whose attitudes lead and mimic a child's.
A person God uses is like the mom with persistent faith.
A person God uses knows the true road to greatness in God's kingdom.
A person God uses is a cracked pot, whose experiences create healing and blessing to be passed out to others.
A person God uses becomes a basket case and in that experience, discovers Jesus is in the basket with him/her.
